Responsible betting
What a probability can and cannot do for you
Read this before you use the betting tools
betaider publishes probabilities. It does not publish certainties, and it cannot: a fixture the model rates at 80% still goes the other way one time in five. Over a long run of well-priced bets an edge can show; on any single day, any bet can lose, and a run of losses is normal, not a sign the next one is due.
Rules that protect you
- Only bet money you can afford to lose — set an amount before you start and stop there.
- Never chase losses. The model's view of tomorrow's match does not change because you lost today.
- Stakes should be small and steady. An edge is a long-run statement; it does not survive one large stake.
- Betting is not income. If it stops being entertainment, stop.
- You must be of legal age to bet where you are, and betting must be legal there. The site does not check this for you and cannot.
Words you will never see here
"Guaranteed", "sure", "fixed", "risk-free", "lock of the day". Those are not statistics; they are sales. If you see them anywhere, that is the signal to close the page.
If betting is becoming a problem
Talking to someone helps. Most countries have a free, confidential helpline: in the UK, GamCare (0808 8020 133) and BeGambleAware; in the US, the National Council on Problem Gambling (1-800-GAMBLER); Gamblers Anonymous meets worldwide. Every regulated bookmaker also offers deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion in its account settings — use them early rather than late.
What the site's tools do and do not do
The slip, ticket and conversion tools read and rewrite your selections. They never place a bet, never hold money, and never tell a bookmaker who you are. Whether to place any bet is a decision only you make.
