What a prediction here is, and what it is not
Prediction and betting disclaimer. Last updated . This document forms part of the site documentation.
The declaration
Every prediction published on betaider is a statistical estimate produced by a computer model from data on previous events and current form. Nothing here is insider knowledge, a tip, a leak, a fixed result or a guarantee. No human being on this site knows the outcome of a match that has not been played, and this site does not claim to.
1. What the model is reading
The figures come from historical and recent sporting data only:
- Previous events — completed fixtures and their final scores, with 74,532 played matches on record today, which is the whole history every estimate is fitted on.
- Current form — the same results weighted so that recent matches count for more than old ones, which is what makes a team's estimate move as its season moves.
- Match quality where it exists — for the major football leagues, shot-by-shot data with expected-goals values, so how a team played is read alongside what the scoreboard said.
- Structural facts — home advantage, the competition, and the sport's own scoring behaviour.
The full description is on the methodology page and the feeds are named on data sources.
2. What a probability means
A probability is a frequency, not a forecast of one match. "Home 70%" means that of many fixtures the model reads this way, about seven in ten end in a home win — and three do not. A high number is not a safe bet, and there is no number on this site that means certain. Fair odds shown anywhere are simply 1 ÷ probability, which is arithmetic, not a recommendation.
3. What the model cannot see
- Injuries, suspensions, rotation and unannounced line-ups, unless they have already shown up in results.
- Weather, pitch, travel, motivation, dressing-room news or a manager's plan.
- Refereeing, individual errors, and everything else that decides single matches.
- Anything at all about a fixture that has not yet been played.
Where a league has too little history to fit on honestly, the site says so on that league's page and holds its picks back rather than filling the gap with a guess.
4. No advice, of any kind
Nothing on this site is financial, investment, betting or professional advice, and no content is a recommendation or solicitation to place any bet. betaider is not a bookmaker, does not accept, place, broker or hold bets or money, and holds no account of yours anywhere. Every bet you place is your own decision, made with your own money, under the laws that apply where you are.
5. Accuracy, errors and availability
The data is gathered automatically and may contain errors, gaps, duplicates or delays; fixtures move and are cancelled; a page may be stale or unavailable. Figures are correct only as of the moment shown on the page, and every prediction carries the time it was generated. Corrections are welcome and acted on first — see contact.
6. Bookmaker prices and booking codes
Where a price or a booking code appears, it comes from the bookmaker's own public endpoint at the moment you asked, and the price the bookmaker shows you at the moment you stake is the only one that counts. A converted or corrected slip is a description of selections and must be checked against the bookmaker's own screen before anything is placed.
7. Judge it for yourself
Rather than asking to be believed, the site publishes its record: every prediction is written down before the match and scored after it on the ledger, the calibration page checks whether things called 60% likely happened about 60% of the time, and the track record compares the model to a naive baseline league by league. Past accuracy is a description of the past and does not guarantee future results.
8. Age, legality and risk
18+ (or the legal age where you live, whichever is higher). Betting is not legal everywhere, and it is your responsibility to know the law that applies to you; this site cannot check it for you. Betting involves risk of financial loss and can be addictive. Never stake money you cannot afford to lose, and read responsible betting, which lists free confidential help.
9. Limitation
To the fullest extent the law allows, betaider accepts no liability for any loss — including betting losses — arising from use of this site or reliance on anything published on it. The full terms are in the terms of use.
